Artist Statement
"When I paint there is no pre-planning, there is however always a calling, a starting point, be it a color, an energy, a shape, a feeling or a dream. So I have to get quiet inside and I listen. I really listen to what is inside and I respond with colors, shapes, lines and texture, over and over. This process of listening and responding in the moment, away from judgments and busy thoughts, slowly gives birth to the image. For me painting is a process of taming, yet of loving the mystery."
